CG – CLUB of GENTS Capsule Collection
Racism contravenes the basic idea of human rights, and yet it’s often part of everyday life in many countries. People marginalise and devalue their fellow human beings – at work, at school, when looking for accommodation or in public places. Negative discrimination goes beyond exclusion on the basis of skin colour. Different languages, cultures, clothing and customs also repeatedly give rise to hostility. At CG – CLUB of GENTS, we don’t close our eyes to this; we prefer to take a stand against racism. The Capsule Collection "SUIT YOURSELF AGAINST RACISM", created in collaboration with Business Punk, sends a clear message: Respect Everyone! Especially when it comes to racism, there are no "ifs" or "buts" for us – the limited collection of both brands takes a clear stance. The urban, edgy style of this collection sets the tone with black-and-white outfits. The eight-part limited collection belongs to the sub-line Savile Row by CG – CLUB of GENTS and interprets the theme through poignant designs and an almost sartorial finish. The fabrics come from Italian weaver Marzotto and impress with their Super120 quality in pure new wool. Small details, like the specially designed lining, embroidered hearts and pins on the lapels make the slim-fit outfits a particular highlight.
"SAY NO TO RACISM" – what more is there to say. With T-shirt Brons you make a clear statement against discrimination and racist incitement. The unisex shirt with rolled up sleeves can be worn with jeans or jersey trousers.
A classic three-piece suit is also a must in the capsule collection. Slim-fit trousers Cray and suit jacket Cress are both designed in a black-and-white check print. The size of the trousers and jacket can be combined variably for a split suit. The half-lined jacket is perfect for that transition period between summer and autumn and impresses with small details, like the integrated pocket square. Matching waistcoat Cicero in houndstooth pattern and with metal chain turns it into a three-piece suit. The Houston shirt with its black-and-white psychedelic pattern is the perfect complement.
The collection is rounded off by short-sleeved shirt Horace. The lapel collar and black-and-white block stripes turn it into a real eye-catcher, whatever the season.
